Personal Statement

Yun-Zhang Li is professor and doctoral supervisor. His research interests are mainly concentrated on Wavelet Analysis,Time-Frequency (Gabor) Analysis and Frame Theory. He was granted Ph. D in Mathematics by Zhejiang University, P. R. China, in 1998. He was a visiting professor in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics, McMaster University, Canada during the year of 2004 and 2005. He was supported as a principal researcher by many foundations including National Natural Science Foundations, Beijing Natural Science Foundations and Programs of Beijing Municipal Commission of Education. His Project was sponsored by SRF for ROCS, SEM of China, etc. He has published more than 60 SCI papers on Appl. Comput. Harmon. Anal., J. Funct. Anal., J. Fourier Anal. Appl., J. Math. Phys., Adv. Comput. Math., J. Math. Anal. Appl., J. Approx. Theory, Proc. Amer. Math. Soc., Acta Appl. Math., Kyoto J. Math., Sci. China Math., etc. He has supervised more than ten doctoral students including several international doctoral students. His doctoral students had won national scholarships, Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of Beijing University of Technology, TIS Award, Best Oral Presentation Award of International Conference and other awards.
