Personal Statement
Dr. Zhang Zhongzhan has been engaged in research and teaching jobs on statistics since the year of 1986 after he graduated and got Master degree from Yunnan University, supervised by Professor Wang Xuren. He studied reliability, especially for statistical models and engineering for several years with the guidance of Professor Yang Zhenhai. Then, He transferred to Biostatistics after he got his Ph.D. degree from Kyushu University in 1999, supervised by Professor Takashi Yanagawa. He also did researches on the inference under order restrictions.
Recently, he has been interested in the analysis of functional data, including the estimation for various models, hypothesis testing.
