Personal statement

Dr. Zhao Xiaofang, an associate professor and graduate supervisor at Beijing University of Technology. She received her PhD degree from The University of Hong Kong, and took her Post-doctoral research at Tsinghua University.

Dr. Zhao teaches and conducts researches in the area of solid mechanics, while the research interests mainly focuses on the mechanical and physical properties of functional materials, such as ferroelectric and multiferroic materials. Her researches have been funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China and Beijing Natural Science Foundation, and the research results obtained have been published on several classical international journals, such as Journal of the European Ceramic Society, Scripta Materialia, etc.
