Personal statement
Wang Xiaojuan, Ph.D, associate professor and master adviser, was awarded Bachelor degree from Tongji University in 2004, Master degree from Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2007, and Ph.D degree from National University of Singapore in 2013, respectively. Subsequently, she worked as a research fellow in Department of Civil Engineering and Environment in National University of Singapore from 2013 to 2016, then she joined Beijing University of Technology in 2016. Currently, she is an associate professor in Faculty of Architecture, Civil and Transportation Engineering. Her research focuses on structure health monitoring, mechanical properties of cement-based materials and metal porous materials, as well as protective structure against blast. In these fields, she has published more than 20 papers in major journals.
