The results of the 2022 Beijing College Students Music Festival were recently announced. Beijing University of Technology was awarded the "Outstanding Organization Award", the only municipal university to receive this award. Additionally, student musical works submitted by BJUT won multiple awards.

China in the Light  and Desh, performed by the student choir, won the vocal group's "Best Performance" and "Most Popular Program among Teachers and Students" awards. The student choir conductor Zhang Qiaozhi won the "Outstanding Conductor Award". Danse Bacchanale and Gao Shan Qing, performed by the student symphony orchestra, andTo Youth, performed by the student modern Chinese orchestra, won the instrumental group's "Best Performance Award".

All three of the musical works the University submitted to the internet performance section of the music festival won awards. A Great Distance Territory won the "Most Loved by Teachers and Students Award". Song of Youth andThe New Heaven and Earth won the "Excellent Performance Award".

The University will organize the 13^th BJUT Cultural Festival, the "Sound of Spring" concert at Zhongshan Music Hall, and special performances by student art troupes to enrich the artistic side of students' campus life.
