On July 12^th, on the occasion of the 11^{th "}National Low Carbon Day", the 2023 National Low Carbon Day Public Institution Theme Event was held at Beijing University of Technology. This year, the National Energy Efficiency Promotion Week is themed "Let's Work Together on Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction", while the National Low Carbon Day's theme is "Actively Respond to Climate Change and Promote Green Low-Carbon Development".

This theme event announced the results of the collection of new technologies, products, and application scenarios for energy-saving resources in Beijing's public institutions. It released the shortlisted works for the energy-saving resource logo collection and outstanding articles on energy-saving resource of Beijing's public institutions. The "Simple, Moderate, Green and Low-Carbon" initiative for public institutions to conserve energy resources was read out. The event also showcased the energy monitoring and smart logistics IoT application platform of Beijing University of Technology.
