· BJUT Was Selected into the List of the Second Batch of National University Intellectual Property Information Service Centers

Recently, the office of the National Intellectual Property Administration and the general office of the Ministry of  Education published a list of the second batch of national university intellectual property information service centers. In this selection,over 60 colleges and universities participated in the competition.More than 30 colleges and universities were on the shortlist after preliminary evaluation and re-evaluation by an oral defense. BJUT was also named in the national intellectual property information service center, demonstrating its comprehensive strength and innovation service in scientific research.

The university national intellectual property information service center is an institution established by colleges or universities to provide intellectual property information services. It is advocated and promoted by the National Intellectual Property Administration and the general office of the Ministry of  Education with the aims to implement the national requirements and deployment of intellectual property strategy and the national innovation-driven development strategy, enhance the innovation of colleges and universities, and accelerate science and technology progress, promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements into productivity for the benefits of economic and social development.

BJUT Intellectual Property Information Service Center was established in 2018, withafocus on intellectual property to carry out related consulting, training, retrieval and patent literature analysis. The successful selection for the national intellectual property information service center presents a new growth opportunity for the work in the intellectual property information service of BJUT. The Center will continue to offer more in-depth and high-quality services subject to the needs of  BJUT researchers in national major project researches, patent applications and other scientific research activities with its resource advantages and a high-level intellectual property information service team. All these moves are committed to boosting preponderant disciplines, promoting the transfer and transformation of scientific research achievements, and contributing to the local economic development of the capital and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebeiregion.
