On March 29, a meeting was held at Beijing University of Technology to announce the appointment decision of the Beijing CPC Committee and the People's Government of Beijing Municipality. Jiang Zeting was appointed Secretary of the CPC Committee of Beijing University of Technology.

Xia Linmao, Member of the Standing Committee of the Beijing CPC Committee and the Secretary of the Working Committee of Beijing Municipal Education Commission delivered a speech. Leng Qiangtian, Deputy Director of the Organization Department of the Beijing CPC Committee announced the appointment. Zhang Ge, Deputy Secretary of the Working Committee of Beijing Municipal Education Commission presided over the meeting.

Other leaders from the Organization Department of the Beijing CPC Committee and the Working Committee of Beijing Municipal Education Commission, as well as the leadership and representatives of the University also attended the meeting.
