Information Security

Objective:

As an interdisciplinary subject involving computer, communication, mathematics, law, and management, the program mainlystudies science and technology to ensure information security. We aim to provide senior professionals in information security who can engage in the fields of computers, communications, e-commerce, e-government, and e-finance.

Curriculum:

Core courses: We offer basic mathematics courses, main courses of computer, and information security courses, which mainly include: Advanced Mathematics, Linear Algebra, Setand Graph Theory, Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics, Information Security Mathematics; Data Structure and Algorithm Analysis, Computer Theory and Assembly, Operating System, Computer Network Foundation, Computer System Structure, Digital Logic, Database Principle, C++ Language Programming Method and Other Courses; Information Security Architecture, Information Theory and Coding, Cryptography, Routing and Switching Technology, Network Security and Protection, Network Design, Security Agreements, Fundamentals of Information Security Law.

Featured courses: We offer courses such as freshmen seminars, self-study courses, innovative practice, and comprehensive design of information security. In the lectures, discussion and new foreign language teaching materials are added to improve teaching efficiency and education quality. We also offer courses: OS Security Analysis, Digital Identification and Authentication System, Firewall Technology, Computer Virus Prevention, Information Security Standards, Trusted Computing Foundation, Application Server Security, Wireless Network Security Technology, Information Hiding, Database Security, Digital Signal Processing, Digital System Design, etc. A series of practical courses were also set up, including Security Protocol Course Design, Comprehensive Design and Internship of Information Security Major. A self-study course under the guidance of teachers: Network Design; at the same time, we set bilingual courses: Computer Network Foundation, and Firmware Principles, to improve students’professional English level, and strengthen professional English while studying professional courses.

Career:

Graduates can engage in the research, design, development and management of various information security systems and computer security systems in government agencies, national security departments, banks, finance, securities, and communications, and work on computer applications in the IT field.
