Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering

Objective:

To meet the intelligent manufacturing and sustainable development needs, the students are provided with the professional training to adapt to the future of science and technology progress, to pursue beauty, intelligence and physique full scale development, to combine the knowledge, ability and personality of the trinity, to master mechanical, material, electrical, industrial, basic theory and knowledge, such as the Internet, a solid engineering, professional knowledge broad, outstanding practice ability, obtain good engineering training, to be able to do under the network forms of collaborative manufacturing innovative product design, intelligent production management and intelligent service operations with lifelong learning ability, international vision, social responsibility, organization and coordination ability, team spirit and professional ethics of creative talents.

Major features of professional training include:

(1) The curriculum system of Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering is based on mechanics and electricity, with machinery and materials as the starting point, network and intelligence as the link, intelligent manufacturing as the core, and design, operation and maintenance as the focus to cultivate interdisciplinary talents with international vision and interdisciplinary crossing.

(2) According to the composition of intelligent manufacturing system, the basic curriculum system is divided into four dimensions: manufacturing process, manufacturing equipment, manufacturing products and manufacturing performance.

(3) Attach importance to project practice innovation, take innovation practice as the main line through the university learning process, and comprehensively train students' consciousness and ability of "intelligent design" and "distributed collaborative manufacturing".

(4) Graduates are specialized in system architecture, planning, innovative product design, intelligent production management and intelligent service operation and maintenance in intelligent manufacturing related fields.

This major is running in the Faculty of Materials and Manufacturing in BJUT. Currently, it has 5 first-level disciplines, and ranks the top 250 universities in the QS world universities rankings by subjects with industry big data application technology national engineering laboratories ,2 state-level scientific research platforms, key laboratory of the ministry of education, Beijing municipal key laboratory, engineering research center of Beijing , 12 provincial scientific research platforms, engineering mechanics national experimental teaching demonstration center, and mechanical engineering experimental teaching demonstration center of institutions of higher learning in Beijing.

Theoretical core courses: Model-based Engineering, Integrated Automation, Manufacturing Operations Management, Intelligent Sensing and Control, Engineering Design and Optimization Methods, New technologies for Intelligent Manufacturing, Intelligent Production Systems and CPS Modeling, etc.

Practical core courses: Integrated Practice of Intelligent Manufacturing, Practice ofAdvanced Manufacturing Technology based on MBD, Mechanical Engineering Training, Intelligent Sensing and Control, Design and Simulation of Intelligent Production System, etc.
