Objectives:
In the talent training process, the College of Architectural and Civil Engineering cultivates students in eight second-level disciplines, namely, Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering (National Key Discipline), Municipal Engineering, Heating/Gas Supply, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Engineering, Disaster Prevention, Mitigation and Protection Engineering, Bridge and Tunnel Engineering, Civil Engineering Materials, and Civil Engineering Construction and Management. To meet the needs of high-level technical and management talents in civil engineering, the College cultivates future high-level innovative academic talents with global visions, and provides students with a strong theoretical foundation, systematic and in-depth expertise and professional skills of civil engineering, the ability to use the first foreign language to conduct academic research and communication, and applicable computer skills. The College aims to cultivates students into industry elites and social pillars who have the ability to independently and creatively engage in scientific research in civil engineering disciplines, solve practical problems in complex engineering, and achieve innovative results in science or expertise.

Earthquake resistance and seismic reduction of major engineering structures and comprehensive urban disaster prevention and mitigation;
