Transportation Engineering (Doctor of Engineering)
Objective: The Doctoral Program of Transportation Engineering is organized by the College of Metropolitan Transportation. In this program, we cultivate top-notch innovative talents in the fields of urban transportation, road engineering, transportation information and control, freight traffic, and rail engineering. We nurture good professional ethics, rigorous and down-to-earth work style. Students trained in this program are supposed to master a solid and broad theoretical foundation together with a systematic in-depth expertise of the transportation engineering discipline. What’s more, the students will gain the ability to independently engage in scientific research work, to achieve innovative results in science or expertise, and to conduct international academic exchanges with an international perspective.
Core Curriculum Courses: Transportation System Analysis, Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery, Road Construction Materials, Structure Analysis of Roadbed and Pavement Structure, Urban Transportation, Public Transport System, Traffic Safety, Traffic Behavior Analysis, Information Fusion Theory and Applications, and Intelligent Traffic Control Theory and Applications.

Transportation Engineering (Master of Engineering)
Objective: We aim to produce high-quality innovative talents in the fields of urban transportation, road engineering, transportation information and control, transportation, and rail engineering. Equipped with good professional ethics, rigorous and down-to-earth work style, the students are supposed to master the theory and systematic expertise in transportation engineering. Being innovative, they will have the ability to independently engage in scientific research or technology development, and have the basic ability to use foreign languages to carry out scientific research and academic exchanges.

Transportation Engineering (Professional degree)
Objectives:In the Master Program with professional degree of Transportation Engineering, we cultivate multi-background talents with solid foundation, versatile skill, and strong practical innovative ability. Students trained in this program are required to compliance with laws and policies of China, and have good professional ethics and professionalism, as well as scientific, rigorous, realistic and practical attitude for the study. The students are expected to understand the status together with the and developing trend in the discipline of Transportation Engineering, and master the basic knowledge and systematic expertise in the field of Transportation Engineering. After graduating from the program, the students should have the ability to independently engage in planning, design, construction, operation and management in the field of Transportation Engineering, and should be able to solve practical engineering problems with advanced techniques and methodology.
