Environmental Engineering

Objective:

Featuring engineering in talent cultivation and taking social needs into full consideration, we combine the basic theory learning and applied practice educating, to help students master strong theoretical foundation in the field of engineering and acquire the expertise of pollution control engineering and environmental monitoring related to water, atmosphere and solid waste. We aim to educate Environmental Engineering students with good competency as engineers, to solve practical problemswith awareness of lifelong learning.

Curriculum:

Core courses: Water Quality Engineering, Air Pollution Control Engineering, Solid Waste Treatment and Disposal, Fluid Mechanics, Principles of Environmental Engineering and Environmental Microbiology.

Featured courses: Water Quality Engineering, Air Pollution Control Engineering, Fundamentals of Environmental Engineering Design, Drainage Pipe Network Engineering, Environmental Engineering Construction.

Graduates following this pathway are ideally educated to work in design institutes, municipal departments, environmental management departments of environmental companies, scientific research organizations, and colleges and universities.
