Objective:

To actively adapt to the national high-tech development strategy, especially to meet the demand for talents and technology from the upgrading of the biotechnology industry during Beijing's fast economic construction and social development, this program is established based on the advantages of disciplines and the school’s high-level innovative personnel training system.

The program aims to equip the graduates with a good political and moral quality, systematic basic theoretical knowledge and professional theoretical knowledge, the knowledge of relevant disciplines, and a cross-field and cross-industry composite knowledge structure; to make graduates understand the latest achievements and development trends of Life Science research both at home and abroad; to train excellent innovative talents with strict scientific thinking mode, prompt creative thinking and cultivate preliminary scientific research ability.

Talents will receive systematic training in Modern Instrumental Analysis, Chemical Biology Research Technology, Drug Synthesis and Pharmacological Analysis Technology, Molecular Biology Detection Technology, Immunological Analysis Technology, Food Inspection and Analysis Technology, Biological Information Technology, etc. Graduates will be scientific and technological professionals who can engage in scientific research and teaching works in scientific research institutes and institutions of higher education and can engage in applied research, technology development, production management and administration in biotechnology-related fields in enterprises, institutions and administrative departments in industries as biomedicine, disease prevention and control, early diagnosis, food, and environmental protection.
