Objectives:
The major of water supply and drainage science and engineering is to meet the major needsof the country, especially the water health cycle and water system security in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. It aims to cultivate students who meet the needs of China’s socialist modernization construction,develop morally intellectually, physically, aesthetically and laboriously, have a high sense of social responsibility and professional ethics, have a solid foundation of natural science and Humanities and Social Sciences, have the sense of innovation, international competitiveness and ability of sustainable development, master the theory and knowledge of water supply and drainage science and engineering, and obtain the basic training of engineers with strong research and development ability, outstanding practical ability, communication ability and social adaptability. Graduates can be engaged in engineering planning, design, construction, operation and management related to water supply and drainage science and engineering. It is expected to become the backbone of technology and management in water supply and drainage science and engineering and related fields five years after graduation.

Engineering Mechanics, Engineering Graphics, Organic Chemistry, Chemistry of Water Analysis, Physical Chemistry, Biology for Water and Wastewater Treatment, Hydraulics, Hydrology and Engineering Geology, Fundamentals of Civil Engineering, Water Engineering Instrumentation and Control, Utilization and Protection of Water Resources, Water Quality Engineering, Pumps and Pump Stations, Fundamentals of Water Process Equipment, Water Supply and Drainage Pipeline Engineering, Building Water Supply and Drainage Engineering, Water Engineering Economics, Water Engineering Construction, Construction Project Management, and other fundamentals of the program and professional courses.
