Information Management and Information System

Objective:

This program is established to cultivate high-quality applied and innovative talents with theoretical knowledge of management and economics, knowledge of computer science and technology and application ability. Talent should master methods and technologies of the analysis, design, maintenance and management of information systems, have certain abilities to develop and utilize information systems and information resources and can conduct works in information system construction and management.

Economic management module: Economic Principles, Applied Statistics, Management Principles, Accounting Principles, Finance, Operations Research, Game Theory, Team management, technical economics, strategic management, technical management, quality Management, Management System Engineering, Production and Operation Management, Enterprise Consultation and Process Reengineering, Information System Project Management, Management Decision-making Methods and Models.

Information management module: Management Information System, Business Information System, Electronic Commerce, Business Intelligence Methods and Applications, Informatics, Enterprise web Application Technology, Information System Analysis and Design, Information Resource Organization and Management, Enterprise Modeling and Management Simulation, Management Software Principles and Applications.

Independent Practice Module: Recognition Internship Practice, Enterprise Resource Planning, Information System Network and Security Practice, Information System Analysis and Design Practice, Enterprise-level Web Application Development and Management, Enterprise Competition Simulation, Innovation Practice, Work Practice, and Graduation Design.

Career:

High-quality applied talents graduated from this program can engage in information system construction and management works in national administrative departments, industrial and commercial enterprises, financial institutions, scientific research institutions and other organizations. After working for around five years, graduates can undertake middle-level information management positions such as information system analysts, system designers, data analysts and other senior management positions as information supervisors.
