Some students in this major will be jointly trained by the Beijing University of Technology and the University of International Business and Economics. In the first to third academic years, students will study at the University of International Business and Economics, and the academic performance will be evaluated in strict accordance with the relevant provisions of the Measures for the Administration of Undergraduate Performance at the University of International Business and Economics. In the fourth academic year, students will return to Beijing University of Technology to study and obtain a bachelor's degree in economics from the university. A Course Completion Certificate in the University of International Business and Economics AND an electronic transcript will be issued.

Career:
Students of this major can engage in international economic and trade-related business, research and planning, management and other works in foreign-related economics and trade departments, relevant government departments, foreign-funded enterprises, banks, financial institutions and other enterprises and institutions, or conduct scientific research and education works in scientific research institutes and education departments, or continue further studies at home and abroad.
